Colson Baker (or Machine Gun Kelly) is well-known for his unique way of his rapping. Baker was originally born in Houston, Texas U.S. on April 22nd 1990 to parents of English Scottish German descent. As a child Baker spent a large deal of time traveling along with his parents who were missionaries. His dad James Colson Baker struggled with depression and unemployed as did his mom Sonia Alane left them when he was nine. Baker, his father, and their aunt moved to Denver to Denver. Other kids in the area had a tendency to bully Baker due to his indigence. His first exposure to Rap was in the sixth grade. Colson Kelly (also known as Machine Gun Kelly) was born on the 22nd of April, 1990, in Texas. With his music, he is known for blending hip-hop trends of the present along with classic rock. Baker released four mixtapes prior to signing with Bad Boy Records between 2007-2010. The Cleveland rapper, who wrote songs at the speed of a bullet speeding through the air experienced an explosion of popularity when at the end of 2011, Baker made the switch from self-released tracks to well-known labels. Over the next few years, every single album of his charted at number 10.
